Thomas "Tommy" Franklin Grinstead

Thomas Franklin (Tommy) Grinstead, age 80, of Hawkinsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones March 15, 2024. Tommy was a life-long resident of Hawkinsville, a US Navy Veteran and was retired from Robins Air Force Base after 50 years of service. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Left to treasure his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Derrie Grinstead; son, Jeff Grinstead (Robyn); daughters, Renae Lassiter (Tim) and Amy McGehee (Will); grandchildren, Carrie Margaret Wynne (Hunter Branham), Sam Way, Jim Way, Hudson McGehee, Sammy McGehee, Grace Grinstead and Tanner Grinstead; brother Billy Grinstead (Connie) Tommy was a faithful member of Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hawkinsville First United Methodist Church with a visitation being held from 1:00 until 1:50 pm before the service. Rev. John Walker and Rev. Jack Varnell will be officiating. Burial will be private. Clark Funeral Home has the privilege of being entrusted with arrangements.
