Timothy Dale Heminger

Timothy Dale Heminger October 26, 1948 - May 29, 2022 Timothy Dale Heminger, a longtime Resident of Hawkinsville, GA passed away peacefully at his home on May 29th, 2022 surrounded by his family. Left to cherish his memories are his wife Karen, sons Zackary and Jacob, five granddaughters and one great granddaughter. Tim was born in Canton, OH. He graduated from Kentucky Military Institute of Louisville, Ky and then attended Kent State University. Tim raced harness horses for many years and was also a popular Blacksmith. He enjoyed spending many winters in Hawkinsville both training and shoeing horses. Tim was partly responsible for the success of many Champion Racehorses, some of which that were known Internationally. In the early 1990s Tim and his wife Karen, decided to make Hawkinsville their year around Home. Tim managed the Hawkinsville Harness Horse Training Facility for a several years and then moved on to work as a Supervisor of the Water Treatment Plant for the City of Hawkinsville of which he retired from. Everyone is born with God-given talents and Tim was blessed with many. He excelled with most all that he laid his hands on. He was an absolute Master Craftsman in Iron work, Carpentry, General Building and so much more. His eye for detail was always visible in any project he tackled for himself or for the countless friends and family that he enjoyed working for. Tim had many accomplishments to be proud of but, he was most proud of his Wife, his Sons and Grandaughters. He enjoyed relating tales of his Hunting exploitations and especially if it involved his family or his many hunting buddies. Tim touched many lives throughout his time here on Earth and when he is Greeted by Our Heavenly Father I know God will say unto him " Well done my Faithful Son, Welcome Home". There will be no services at this time. There will be a gathering in the Fall in Tim's honor at the Hawkinsville Harness Horse Training Facility when the Horsemen return for the winter training season.
