Tony Edward Mincey
September 17, 1957 — April 24, 2015
Mr. Mincey was a native of Hazelhurst, Georgia and a member of the Baptist Faith. He worked at Lockheed Martin and then went to Robins Air Force Base and retired as a civil service employee in sheet metal.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Newman Mincey of Hawkinsville, Georgia; parents, Edward and Janet Mincey of Eastman, Georgia; son, Colby Mincey of Temple, Georgia; daughter, A'Leah Mincey of Warner Robins, Georgia; brother, Steve (Sherry) Mincey of Eastman, Georgia; sisters, Donna (Ronnie) Cannon of McDonough, Georgia and Arleen Bracewell of Dexter, Georgia. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Conner and Averi Mincey.
Visitation will be in the First Baptist Church social hall from 2p.m. to 2:45p.m. immediately prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted but donations may also be made to the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 210, Hawkinsville, Georgia 31036.
