Verna Virginia Wellman Register

Mrs. Verna Virginia Wellman Register, 71, of Cochran, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her residence.  A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.

Mrs. Register was a native of Kentucky and a member of the Baptist faith.  Verna was a retired registered nurse having worked for Taylor Regional Hospital and Dodge County Hospital for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert E. Register.

Survivors include four sons, Michael (Nicole) Register of Warner Robins, Ga., John Register, Christopher Register, Benjamin Register; brother, Eugene Wellman; sisters, Kathy Sapp, Robin Galloway; grandchildren, Nicholas Register, Crosby Register and great-grandchild, Branson Register; step-grandchildren, Catie Shaw, Paul Shaw and Bryan Shaw.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
