Virgie Gail Vaughn

Gail was born in Hawkinsville on June 1, 1952 to Douglas G. and Virgie Lee Martin. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was retired from Armstrong World Industries. Gail was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas G. and Virgie Lee Martin and one sister, Patty Johnston.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Howard Robert Vaughn of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Shannon Shirah of Hawkinsville, Ga., Misty (Charity) Vaughn of Warner Robins, Ga. and Amanda Alligood of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, Mike (Darlene) Martin of Hawkinsville, Ga. and Chris (Elaine) Martin of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Beth (Jimmy) Bridges of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Abby Shirah, Jonah Shirah, Michae Alligood, Makoy Alligood and Jules Vaughn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
