Mrs. Virginia Elise Rhodes, 77, of Pineview, Georgia passed away Friday, March 18, 2011in the Pineview Healthcare Center.Funeral Services will be held at 2p.m. Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Will Archibald and Rev. Eldridge Bowen officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Rhodes was a native of Chatham County Georgia and was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther "Bud" Rhodes.
Survivors include one son, John Luther (Jean) Rhodes of Pineview, Georgia.Two daughters, Joanne Rountree (Buddy) of Bonaire, Georgia and Diane Rhodes Bentley of Pineview, Georgia.Brothers, David Jacobs and Ed Burnsed both of Savannah, Georgia.Sister, Mickie Cowart of Buford, South Carolina and 7 Grandchildren, Jody Bentley, Jason Bentley, Tammy Cail, April Cail, Jennifer Bostic, Kandace Rich and John Michael Rhodes.Mrs. Rhodes also has 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
