Wayne Wynne Gilbert
July 24, 1945 — March 7, 2015
Wayne was a native of Fitzgerald, Georgia but lived most of his life in Hawkinsville. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was a certified public accountant. Mr. Gilbert graduated from Hawkinsville High School in 1963 and Georgia State College in Atlanta, Georgia. Wayne was a very compassionate and unique man and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward James Gilbert, Sr. and Christine Wynne Gilbert; brothers, Billy Gilbert and Bobby Gilbert.
Survivors include his brother, Jimmy (Sharon) Gilbert of Hawkinsville, Georgia; sisters, Clara (Bill) Stewart of Centerville, Georgia and Patsy (P.L.) Bridges of Unadilla, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2p.m. until 2:50p.m. before the service at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
