Mr.William Thomas Elmore, Sr., 78, of Cochran, Ga. passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020 in the Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Ga.A private graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in the Elmore family cemetery on Dubois Road in Cochran, Ga.Rev. James Alexander will officiate.
Mr. Elmore was a native of Eastman, Ga. and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.He was a retired tree surgeon for EMC Flint.He loved his grandkids and animals.He had a love for fishing, gardening and farming.He was a member of the Good Time Gang and went by the nickname "Big Doodle."William was preceded in death by his father, Joe Elmore and mother, Syble McCraine Elmore.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie A. Elmore of Cochran, Ga.; sons, William T. Elmore, Jr (Chelsea) and children of Alabama, Donald R. Elmore of Eastman, Ga., Brian Blazejack (Sally) of Texas; daughters, Treasa Livingston (Scottie) of Milan, Ga., Jennifer Clinton (Steven) of Warner Robins, Ga., Nonnie Callaway (Claude) of Rose Hill, Kansas, Terrie Larkins Giordano of Jacksonville, Florida, LaWynna R. Clementz of Arkansas, Crystal A. Belt of Witchata, Kansas; sisters, Mary Tittle of Oklahoma, Sally Kimber of NewYork, Shelda Jefson of Bonaire, Ga. and brother, Dan More of Florida; 34 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
