Mr. William B. (Jabo) Conner, 74, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Monday, December 10, 2012 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville, Ga.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Robert Daughtry officiating.Burial will be private.
Mr. Conner was a native ofPulaski County, Ga. and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.He was retired from Midstate Cable and Conner Pork Co., an Army Veteran, active member of VFW, Jaycees, Lions Club, volunteer fireman and a retired flagman from many middleGa. race tracks.Jabo loved car racing.He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant son.
Survivors include a son, William Michael Conner of Dublin, Ga.; daughters, Stephanie Joanne Horrell of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and Kimberly Denise Plemons of Port Wentworth, Ga.; brothers, Russell (Nancy) Conner of Hawkinsville, Ga., John Curtis (Norma) Conner of Perry, Ga., Edgar Ray (Betty Jo) Conner of Hawkinsville, Ga., Charles Lamar (Mary Joe) Conner also of Hawkinsville, Ga.; sisters, Joan Yarbrough of Pineview, Ga., Jane (Lamar) Richardson ofPineview, Ga.; 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be immediately following the service in the chapel.
Flowers will be accepted but donations may be made to the sender's favorite charity or Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, Pulaski County.
