William S. Peck

William S. Peck, age 72 of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Pulaski County.Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Hock officiating.Entombment will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 in Parkhill Cemetery, 4160 Macon Road, Columbus, Ga.

Mr. Peck was a native of Jefferson County, New York and was a member of the Baptist faith.He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and was a POW.He was retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Peck of Hawkinsville; sons, Fredrick Lloyd Peck of Hawkinsville, Donald Hiram Peck and William S. Peck, Jr. both of Columbus; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Peck of Watertown, N. Y. and David Peck of Ft. Bragg, N. C. and sisters, Eva Peck of Watertown, N. Y. and Edith Killingsworth of Iowa.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
