Willie "Beau" Fred Curry

Mr. Willie Fred "Beau" Curry, 87, of Hawkinsville passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Sunday, October 22, 2023.  Mr. Curry was born on April 30, 1936 to Walter and Louise Curry, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were brothers, John Curry, Charles "Bud" Curry, and Billy Curry, and sister Peggy Curry Chafin. He is survived by his wife, Mary W. Curry, daughters Amy Maleia Barry and Annisa Barry Sheffield, grandsons Matthew and Michael Sheffield.

Beau was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He attended Middle Georgia College and the University of Georgia. He was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base, as well a retired pharmaceutical courier for Eldercare pharmacy for 25 years. He enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team, the Georgia Bulldogs. Beau loved flowers and was known for his gardens.

Graveside services will be held at Orange Hill Cemetery on October 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Bill Bryant officiating. The family will greet friends after the service at Orange Hill Cemetery in Hawkinsville. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the church of your choice.
