Willie Catherine Orth

Woodruff – Willie Catherine Orth, 96, of Lady Lake, Fla  passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024.  She was the loving wife of the late Lt. Col. James E. Orth and the daughter of the late Henry and Jimmie Simmons Kirkpatrick of Hawkinsville, GA.

Mrs. Orth was a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville and worked for Woods Service Station before retirement.  She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed working with crafts. When her husband Jim was alive she loved to go dancing.  She has missed him dearly and we are comforted in the fact that she is now with him again dancing in heaven.

She loved her children and grandchildren with such a passion and was a wonderful mother and Maw Maw.  She will be missed so much by us all, but we are thankful she is no longer suffering.

Catherine is survived by her children, Danny Ray Daniels (Joni), Betty Ann Jamieson (Charles), and Andy Daniels, Jr.; her grandchildren, Charles Benny Jamieson, Jr., Matthew Daniels, and Kelly Daniels; great grandchildren, Payton, Kennedy and Drake; and her niece, Kathy Curry Bryant.  She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Angela Jamieson; her sister, Lottie Curry; and her nephew, Billy Holder.

A Graveside service is planned for Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens, 1080 Georgia Highway 26, Cochran, GA  31014. Pastor, Bill Bryant will officiate. Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
