Beverly Gail Crooms Sewell

Mrs. Beverly Gail Crooms Sewell, age 70, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Atrium Health Navicent.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.  A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. before the service begins.  Dr. Don McClung and Mr. Robert Lancaster will officiate.  Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sewell was a native of Pulaski County, Georgia and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.  She was a graduate of Hawkinsville High School’s class of 1971 and a graduate of Middle Georgia College.  Beverly was a devoted and loving Mother and Grandmother.  During her free time, she enjoyed the company of her friends, Fay, Linda, Sandra, Aleta and Ruth.  She also enjoyed hunting antiques with her husband.  Beverly was also a member of the Red Hat Society.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Evelyn Crooms.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Sewell of Hawkinsville, Georgia; son, Les Sewell (Melissa) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; daughter, Ashley Sewell of Hawkinsville, Georgia; brother, Gary Crooms (Marsha) of Perry, Georgia; granddaughter, Cady Sewell of Hawkinsville, Georgia; nephew, Shay Crooms of Macon, Ga.; niece, Meaghen Ratterree (Cole) of Washington D.C.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pulaski County Fire Department and dispatchers, Beverly’s Sisterhood: Fay, Sandra, Linda, Aleta and Ruth.

Active pallbearers will be Tim Darsey, Robert Herman, Glen Herrington, Wil Herrington, Drew Davis, Johnny Scott and Rueben Roberts.
