Gary Duane Kilgore

Mr. Gary Duane Kilgore, age 71, of Hawkinsville, Georgia passed away at his residence on December 7, 2022. Graveside services for Mr. Kilgore will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Pulaski Bleckley Memorial Gardens at 2p.m. with Rev. Jack Varnell officiating. A Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 1:50 pm prior to the service. Gary was born on March 11, 1951 and a native of Bibb County, he was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Macon, Ga. He was a Marine Corp. Vietnam Veteran but retired from the Air National Guard, also a retired Civil Service employee at Robins Air Force Base and a member of the VFW. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Clarence and Vesta Elizabeth Payton Kilgore; his wife, Joan Dale Burns Kilgore; his brothers, Clarence David Kilgore and Jim Darrell Kilgore; and sister-in-law Gladys Elaine Roberts Kilgore. Those left to forever cherish his memory include his son, Troy L. Meeks (Allison) of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brother, Danny L. Kilgore; two nephews, David Mark Kilgore and Max Danton Kilgore; niece, Danielle Lynn Hedden; grandchildren, Mathew Tyler Meeks and Tanner Lee Meeks; and sister-in-law Laverne Richardson Kilgore.
