Gloria Jean Fordham Griffin, 64, of Hawkinsville, Ga. passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, Ga.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Ga. with Rev. Jeff Waters officiating.Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Griffin was a native of Pulaski County, Ga. and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church.She was a child care provider for many years.Jean's hobby was spending time with her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Ruby Rouse Fordham and her brother, Rusty Fordham.
Survivors include her husband, Allen Griffin of Hawkinsville, Ga.; daughters, Misty Griffin (Chad) Sheffield of McDonough, Ga., Melody Elise (Philip) McKie of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandchildren, Griffin Sheffield, Grant Sheffield, Garrett Sheffield, Jacob McKie and Joshua McKie.
Pallbearers will be Ben Evans, Barry McKinney, Caleb Barnett, Jeff Sutton, Chris Sears, Mike Rouse, Tharin Brown, Fred Powell and Fred Phagan.
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home.
Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
