Jonathan Jay Beck, 38, of Lilburn, Ga. died Friday, October 21, 2011 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 2:30p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in the Broad Street Baptist Church with Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Jeff Waters officiating.Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Bleckley County.
Mr. Beck was a native of Houston County having lived all of his life in Pulaski County and a member of Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Ga.He was a heating & air conditioning supervisor for Beck & Beck Inc. and was a 1992 graduate of Hawkinsville High School.Mr. Beck also graduated from Middle Georgia Technical College in 1994.He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Beck.
Survivors include his father, Rudolph Foy Beck and his wife Judy of Hawkinsville, Ga.; brothers, Randolph Beck (Larisa) of Dunwoody, Ga. and Alan Beck (Julie) of Nashville, TN.; sister, Wendy Beck Smarr of Hawkinsville, Ga. and six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. to 8p.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Arnold, Chuck Griffith, Tony Thompson, Jim Adams, Ray Conner and Jamie Floyd.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Broad Street Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Ga. www.bsbchurch.net
