LUCILLE HOLLAND HERRINGTON

Lucille Holland Herrington, 85, of Hawkinsville, Ga. died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at her residence.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010 in Orange Hill Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Gary Abbott, Dr. Don McClung and Rev. Ricky Allen officiating.

Mrs. Herrington was a native of Clarkston, (DeKalb County), Ga. having lived most of her life in Hawkinsville, Ga.She was a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday School Teacher, Training Union Leader and had been active in the Women's Missionary Union and served on several church committees. Lucille had also been a member of the American Legion and Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliaries.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Glen Herrington; son, Thomas Glen Herrington, Jr. (Fay); daughter, Evelyn Herrington, all of Hawkinsville, Ga.; grandson, Glen Herrington, III (Pam); great-grandson, Wil Herrington, all of Cochran, Ga. and several nieces.

Honorary pallbearers will be Reggie Lancaster, Bill Slade and John Gibson.

Clark Funeral Home of Hawkinsville, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
